The Community Foundation is reminding residents of Kerr County and Comfort who were impacted by the July 2026 floods that they may be eligible for Emergency Housing Assistance as they continue navigating recovery.  Qualified residents may receive up to three months of emergency housing assistance, according to a press release.

If you previously completed a Needs Assessment survey and have been assigned a Disaster Case Manager, contact your case manager to apply for assistance.  If you have not yet completed a Needs Assessment, you may complete it at https://forms.connectivetx.org/376.

Recovery needs often look different for every household.  The Community Foundation asks that you share this information with neighbors who may also benefit from this resource.
