Dietert Center offering free scam awareness seminars this week

The Dietert Center, located at 451 Guadalupe Street in Kerrville, is offering free scam awareness seminars this week.

On Tuesday, June 24, the Dietert Center is hosting an Elder Fraud/Exploitation Seminar from 10-11:30 a.m.  This seminar shares a unique perspective presented by Texas Partners Bank.  Attendees will hear from bankers regarding their thoughts on how to differentiate between a legitimate bank fraud alert and/or a scam.

A Scam Awareness Presentation seminar will be held on Thursday, June 26 from 10-11 a.m. presented by Kerrville Police Department’s Sgt. Jonathon Lamb.  One of the topics Lamb will be covering is how to protect yourself from criminal scammers who try to fool you into clicking on a phishing link.
