Gillespie County Remains Under Winter Storm Warning

Gillespie County remains under a Winter Storm Warning until 6 a.m. Thursday due to significant amounts of ice accumulation.  According to county officials, a bridge on State Highway 290 East is covered in ice in parts.

The National Weather Service reports that tree damage and power outages are possible as conditions continue, with the greatest ice accumulations across the Hill Country, northern parts of the I-35 corridor and Austin metro area.
