Gillespie County residents are reminded to sign up for CivicPlus Mass Notification System

In the aftermath of the Hill Country flooding in July, City of Fredericksburg officials want to remind all city and county residents and property owners they can sign up for its CivicPlus Mass Notification System – a text-or-email based emergency alert system to keep the public informed.

Severe weather warnings and emergency alerts can be sent to a user’s preferred device.  To subscribe, text FBGTX to 38276.  A mobile app, my alerts, is also available.
