Gillespie County Retired Teachers Assoc. to host retirement planning seminar Wednesday

The Gillespie County Retired Teachers Association is hosting a retirement planning seminar for current FISD teachers and staff on Wednesday, May 7, from 4:15-5:15 p.m. at Fredericksburg Middle School.

Ronnie Jung, a former executive director of the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, will speak on the retirement process and on gains made for public school retirees with the passage of the federal Fairness Act and Texas Proposition 9.
