Gillespie County woman arrested for sending child abuse photos

The Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that 18-year old Zoe Sophia Williams, of Fredericksburg, has been arrested after she allegedly sent media depicting child sexual abuse material and inappropriate acts with children to a 22-year-old soldier stationed at Fort Cavazos.  According to a press release, Williams was found to have media depicting child sexual abuse material on her phone.

Deputies believe Williams’ access to her victims may have come through her work as a babysitter.  Deputies also found that she had allegedly sought child sexual abuse material on the internet, taking pictures of children while in her care and sending that media to the soldier.

Williams was arrested and charged with possession of child abuse material and is being held at the Gillespie County Jail.  The soldier is being held at the Bell County Jail.
