Hill Country Film Fest officially underway in Fredericksburg

The 14th annual Hill Country Film Fest began Thursday and runs through Sunday, June 4, in Fredericksburg. The festival includes screenings of nine feature length films and 47 short films which are all shown at the Great Hall at Hoffman Haus and the Nimitz Ballroom.

The festival also includes panel discussions, scheduled entertainment and an awards ceremony. The film festival was created in 2010 and has since expanded into the Hill Country Film Society, which offers many other things such as independent film screenings and film camps for students from eighth to 12th grades.
