Kerrville Pets Alive! is asking the public to consider adopting a cat or dog from the Kerr County Animal Shelter.

The population at the shelter is at capacity.

KCAS is hoping that the public will adopt several of the dogs and cats currently being housed at the site before they are forced to euthanize any animals next week.

Many of these impounded animals have been surrendered by their owners.

Anyone missing pets or are interested in adopting pets is asked to contact KCAS at (830) 257-3100. KCAS is located at 3600 Loop 534 in Kerrville.
