The Kerr County Sheriff’s Office have arrested William Curtis Roberts in Kerr County after Roberts’ alleged week-long crime spree which included vehicle and property theft, drug offenses and evading arrest, according to a press release.

Records indicate that Roberts has gathered numerous felony charges filed in Kerr County, Kimball County and by the Kerrville Police Department which were alleged to have been committed by him since June 2, 2021. An additional criminal mischief charge has been entered for an offense earlier this spring along with an alleged admission by Roberts that he was involved in thefts of catalytic converters in the Center Point area.

Numerous agencies were involved in the arrest of Roberts including the Texas Rangers, DPS Criminal Investigation Division, DPS Aircraft Division, Junction Police Department, Kimble County Sheriff’s Department, Kerrville Police Department and the U.S. Secret Service.

As in all criminal cases, charges may be modified prior to trial. Roberts was booked into the Kerr County Jail, and bond has not been set.

Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha issued a statement saying, “This case is an example of the courage and commitment of our KCSO deputies, investigators, and our law enforcement colleagues at the local, state, and even federal level. This individual put many innocent lives in danger and showed reckless disregard for public safety. Our teams were relentless in searching for Mr. Roberts and we are pleased to have this serial offender in custody.”
