Authorities arrested a San Antonio man accused of trafficking cocaine into Kerr County, according to the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies identified the individual as 44-year-old Daniel Joseph Hinojosa.
Hinojosa was charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance (four grams to 200 grams), which is considered a first-degree felony, the sheriff’s office said.
Investigators identified a vehicle associated with Hinojosa and coordinated with the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Unit. The unit located the vehicle and subsequently conducted a traffic stop. Deputies said Hinojosa was a passenger in the car.
After the driver provided authorities with consent to search the vehicle, the sheriff’s office said 3.6 ounces (104 grams) of cocaine were found concealed in the car.
Hinojosa was later booked into the Kerr County Jail on a $200,000 bond, deputies said.
