Kerr County Historical Commission releases several upcoming program event dates

The Kerr County Historical Commission has released several upcoming program event dates, including a Summer History Camp for children who have completed third and fourth grades.  The camp dates are Monday, June 6 through Friday, June 10, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Union Church Building, 101 Travis Street in Kerrville.

Each day campers will celebrate a different theme and the cost is $50 per child.  For additional information call (830) 377-9940.
The Kerr Regional History Center will be presenting various exhibits on the Guadalupe River from April through May, with the focus being “Life on the Guadalupe – Wildlife”.  The Center is located at 425 Water Street in Kerrville.
KCHC is also celebrating May Fest: A Celebration of Family History, Saturday, April 30, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Comfort Park.  The event itself is free and open to the public and is being sponsored by the Comfort Heritage Foundation, the Genealogical Society of Kendall County and the Kerrville Genealogical Society.
