Most Kerr County offices will be closed on Monday, November 11, in observance of the federal holiday marking Veterans Day. The one-day closure will affect offices in the Kerr County Courthouse, 700 Main Street in Kerrville, the West Kerr County Courthouse Annex, 510 College Street in Ingram, the county campus at 550 Earl Garrett Street and others. The holiday will not interrupt any services provided by emergency agencies, such as law enforcement, fire departments or EMS.
Normal business hours are expected to resume on Tuesday, November 12. For the operating hours of a specific county department, refer to their individual pages on the county website: www.kerrcountytx.gov.
The holiday will impact the meeting schedule of the Kerr County Commissioners’ Court. While the court normally meets the second and fourth Mondays of the month, the November 11 closing means that the Commissioners’ Court will meet the following day on Tuesday, Nov. 12, starting at 9 a.m. An agenda outlining which topics will be addressed at the meeting will be posted at the end of this week on the Public Notices page of the county website. The meeting can also be watched by visiting https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-LD3iT7VijiBWrOMplcjug — the county’s You Tube channel.
“The Kerr County Veterans Service Office wants to take this time and this opportunity to salute all veterans and their family members with respect and recognition. Thank you for service!” said Kerr County Veterans Service Officer Jenna Sanchez.
