Kerr County governmental offices will be closed on Thursday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day. The offices located at the Kerr County Courthouse, 700 Main Street in Kerrville, and the West Kerr Annex, 3350 Junction Highway in Ingram, will reopen and resume normal business hours on Friday, November 12.

Citizens are reminded that the closing of these offices will not interrupt emergency services, including law enforcement, fire and paramedics.

Veterans Day is one of 10 national holidays recognized by the federal government, and all non-essential governmental employees are paid for the day off as their offices close in observation. The rest of Kerr County’s holiday schedule for 2021 includes two days for Thanksgiving, Thursday and Friday, November 25-26; Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Friday, December 24, and Monday, December 27. The final holiday closure of the year will be for New Year’s Eve on Friday, December 31.
