A “Flood Advisory” was issued May 1 at ^:13 PM/CDT until May 1 at 9:15 PM/CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio. This includes areas in northeastern Bandera County, western Gillespie County, western Kendall County and eastern Kerr County.

The Kerrville Police Department has closed certain roads in the city due to extremely high water, including Hill Country Drive at SH 16, Coronado Drive at SH 27, and Schreiner at Town Creek. Be advised that many area streets have high water and it is recommended to drive with caution.

The Boerne Police Department issued a “Flood Advisory”, May 1, until 5:00 p.m.

NSW Austin/San Antonio was sent to “Flash Flood Warning” at 1:52 p.m. which includes Eastern Gillespie County, and portions of Kendall County.

Always remember to never attempt to drive through rushing water. Turn around, don’t drown.
