The Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library will be hosting two family movie afternoons in August to conclude its summer family-friendly events.
On Tuesday, August 1 at 2 p.m., kids can partake on a thrilling adventure to find pirate treasures and save their family home.
On Tuesday, August 8 at 2 p.m., families can enjoy an epic journey with Nicholas Cage as he searches for a massive lost Freemason treasure hidden on the back of the Declaration of Independence.
The library is also inviting the community to embark on a journey of relaxation by attending a meditative sound bath led by Humbling Bloom Yoga, which promises to offer participants an opportunity to unwind and rejuvenate themselves. This particular type of yoga is a form of sound therapy which is known for its ability to promote deep relaxation, reduce stress, and restore a sense of harmony. The presentation is free and open to adults 18 and over.
All of the movies are free and open to the public. For more information, call (830) 258-1274.
