The City of Kerrville’s Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is asking for the public’s input at their upcoming December 15 meeting, scheduled for 5:15 PM at the Dietert Center in Kerrville, 451 Guadalupe Street. The meeting is meant for discussing the Parks and Recreation Department’s Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan Update.

The current master plan was put into place in 2008, and according to the Director of Parks and Recreation Ashlea Boyle, “It’s time for an update. We’d like to invite the community to participate in this process and provide feedback on our parks system, priorities, and potential future projects.”

Anyone interested in providing feedback but unable to attend the meeting can email the department director at ashlea.boyle@kerrvilletx.gov. It is asked that “Parks Master Plan” be included in the subject line.

For additional information, contact the Parks and Recreation Department at (830) 257-7300, or visit the city’s website at www.kerrvilletx.gov.
