A new drone funded by the Rotary Club of Kerrville is expected to strengthen law enforcement operations and emergency response efforts across Kerr County. According to a release, members of the Rotary Club of Kerrville recently received a presentation from the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office showcasing the new drone and discussed how it will be used to enhance public safety throughout the county.
The drone is able to assist in search and rescue operations, emergency responses, disaster assessments, and other situations where aerial visibility can provide critical information and improve response times. The recent presentation provided Rotarians with a firsthand look at how their investment will be used in strengthening emergency response capabilities.
“Service Above Self is more than our motto. It is a commitment to making a meaningful difference in the community we call home,” Rotary Club of Kerrville President Layng Guerriero said. “Our club is proud to support projects like this that provide valuable resources to those who serve and protect Kerr County.”
The Rotary Club of Kerrville said it continues to invest in projects aimed at addressing community needs and improving quality of life for residents throughout the Texas Hill Country.
