The Kerrville Police Department and Kerrville Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association (KCPAAA) have announced the 2023 Blue Santa program is now underway.  The program’s goal is to help qualified Kerr County families provide some assistance during the holidays for their children, ages 13 and younger.  Blue Santa distributes clothing and toys for the children, and the Kerrville Rotary Club provides generous packages of food for the families.

Anyone wanting more information on how to receive assistance must complete an application, along with a copy of a photo ID of the parent or guardian; a copy of a current document showing the children receive one of the qualifying benefits listed on the form, or enrollment in the free school lunch program.  The deadline to submit completed applications is 4:30 p.m. on Friday, October 27.

Blue Santa application forms may be picked up at the front desk at Kerrville Police Department, 429 Sidney Baker Street, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Those wishing to make a donation can mail a check to KCPAAA, P.O. Box 290629, Kerrville, TX, 78029.  KCPAA is a 501(c)(3) organization, and donations are tax deductible.
