Law enforcement investigating bomb threats at Fredericksburg Middle School

Law enforcement is currently on scene at Fredericksburg Middle School about a reported bomb threat.  Fredericksburg Police is helping the school and the district in actively investigating the threat.

Police said officers and school officials take every threat seriously and are implementing necessary measures to help ensure the safety of students and staff.

Police are urging parents and community members to avoid coming to the school or surrounding areas until further notice.  The department said limiting traffic in the area will help first responders and school officials, police said.
