Mattress giveaway set for Saturday in Ingram for residents affected by floods

Mattress Mac from Houston, with support from the United Cajun Navy, is giving away 500 mattresses to Kerr County residents from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13 at City West Church, 3139 Junction Hwy., in Ingram.  All first responders and volunteers that assisted during the flood are also welcome to receive a mattress.

Recipients are reminded to bring a truck or trailer to the event to load their free mattress.  People are also encouraged to assist their neighbors, family members or friends who may not have a vehicle equipped to carry a mattress.
