The City is also encouraging all citizens to join the scheduled Monday, July 4th “Fourth on the River” event which will culminate in a professionally-monitored fireworks show beginning at approximately 9:30 p.m. in Louise Hays Park, 202 Thompson Drive.
All additional public fireworks displays are permissible provided that all state and local laws are met and a permit is issued. However, due to the current weather environment, the use of fireworks by individuals is discouraged.
