A two-day closing is coming up shortly for most Kerr County, Texas offices. Local governmental offices will be shutting their doors on Thursday and Friday, November 28-29, so that employees may join their family and friends in observing the Thanksgiving holiday.
Offices primarily affected will be those in the Kerr County Courthouse, 700 Main Street in Kerrville, the West Kerr County Courthouse Annex, 510 College Street in Ingram, and the county’s 550 Earl Garrett Street campus. There will be no interruption for those calling in need of emergency services, including those provided by law enforcement, fire departments and emergency medical units.
Business hours will resume as normally scheduled on Monday, December 2. For operating hours specific to a particular county branch, refer to its individual webpage found in the “Departments” listing of the county website: www.kerrcountytx.gov.
After the Thanksgiving break, there are two holidays on the county schedule remaining in 2024. A two-day respite lies ahead for county employees on Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 24-25. To welcome the New Year 2025, county offices will be open on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, but closed for one day on Wednesday, January 1.
