The Red Cross has closed its Family Assistance Center in Kerrville.  The center was primarily for those with injured, missing, or loved ones who died.

Those who need access to resources can now access a virtual Family Assistance Center by calling (844) 576-2126.  People will be able to speak with trauma-informed, trained responders.  The people who answer will also be able to help callers navigate through the process and refer callers to partner-service providers that have been vetted.

Disaster recovery centers are still open for face-to-face help for those who have damage or loss from the storms.  Those centers are at LJ Vineyards, formerly Bridget’s Basket in Hunt, and the First Baptist Church in Kerrville.

The hotline for the virtual Family Assistance Center is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every single day.
