The City of Kerrville’s Public Works Department is announcing some important changes to solid waste services which will affect residents receiving services through the city’s utility billing system. Republic Services will begin collection for garbage on Friday, February 19 for those residents who normally receive collection service on Thursdays.

Residents who receive collection on Mondays-Wednesdays will be serviced next week on their regular days. Collections for recyclables have been suspended for this week and next.

The revised schedule is as follows:

Thursday, February 18: No service

Friday, February 19: Garbage service for residents who receive collections on Thursdays. No recycling collections.

Monday, February 22-25: Garbage will be collected as scheduled.

Friday, February 26: No recycling collecions.

Be advised that yard waste collections may experience delays as crews prioritize to complete any garbage routes that remain and delays may occur. Residents are still asked to place their yard waste out as scheduled by 7:30 a.m.
