“Running Home for the Holidays” registration now open

The Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department has announced that the registration for the annual “Running Home for the Holidays 5K” is now open.  The event is held in Louise Hays Park, 202 Thompson Drive, and participants are encouraged to dress as their favorite family-friendly Christmas character.  The 5K Run takes place on the Kerrville River Trail and kicks off at 4 p.m.

Registration is required, and the fee is $10 per participant.  The first 50 pre-registrants will receive an event t-shirt.  On-site registration will be available beginning at 3 p.m., and all registrations include a ticket to participate in a prize drawing and a race medal.
