“Running Home for the Holidays” registration now open

The Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department has announced that registration is now open for the Saturday, December 2 annual “Running Home for the Holidays 5K” in Louise Hays Park, 202 Thompson Drive.  Participants are encouraged to dress as their favorite family-friendly Christmas character for the event which kicks off at 4 p.m. at the Kerrville River Trail.

Registration is required, and the fee is $10 per participant.  The first 50 pre-registrants will receive an event t-shirt.  Every registration includes a ticket to participate in a prize drawing (must be present to win) and a race medal.
