The Schreiner Nursing Program will be hosting a Health Fair for both students and members of the community on Wednesday, October 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Cailloux Campus Activity Center on the Schreiner University campus.  Some of the scheduled presenters include representatives from Peterson Health, numerous health-related organizations, and select area businesses.

“We are offering the Health Fair because it will be informative on health and wellness resources available in the community for all those who attend,” said event organizer Trista Miller, Oaks Resident Assistant.  Miller says that some of the topics being discussed include reproductive health, “stop-the-bleed” training, along with free flu vaccines available for Schreiner University students and faculty.

The fair is free and open to the public.  For more information, visit www.schreiner.edu.
