Schreiner University is inviting the public to attend its Hill Country College Fund (HCCF) Spring Fundraising Luncheon on Thursday, March 20, at 11:30 a.m. on the campus quad at 2100 Memorial Blvd. in Kerrville.  During the luncheon, attendees will hear inspiring stories from current HCCF recipients who have directly benefited from the support of donors, highlighting the tangible difference that scholarships make in helping achieve the ability to pursue higher education.

“This luncheon is more than just a fundraiser, it is a celebration of community support, a moment to connect with our amazing students, and a chance to come together to invest in the future,” said Danielle Jenschke, Director of Development at Schreiner University.  “We encourage everyone to join us in ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed.”

Since its founding, the Hill Country College Fund has raised over $32 million, providing needed scholarship assistance that helps students in the Texas Hill Country achieve their academic goals.  One-hundred percent of the funds raised go directly to supporting local students, and ensuring that financial barriers do not stand in the way of their education.  Over 99% of Schreiner undergraduate students receive some form of financial aid.

“Schreiner University is committed to making higher education accessible and affordable,” Jenschke said.  “Now, more than ever, our students need the support of those who believe in the power of education.  Thousands of students from the Hill Country region have relied on the HCCF to build a brighter future.  These students, our future community leaders, benefit immensely from the generosity of those who invest in their success.”

There is no charge to attend, but guests are asked to RSVP to Sandy Nash by March 13 at snash@schreiner.edu or call (830) 792-7214.
