The Kerrville Independent School District has announced that out of an abundance of caution, schools and offices will be closed and all activities will be cancelled on Thursday, February 3. K.I.S.D. officials will continue to monitor the weather and road conditions to determine the status for Friday.

The K.I.S.D. calendar has a Bad Weather Makeup Day scheduled for Monday, April 18. This day will now be a regular school and work day for the district.

Ingram Independent School District stated that due to statewide concerns regarding the inclement weather and road conditions, Ingram I.S.D. will be closed on Thursday, February 3. Further updates on whether school operations will resume on Friday, February 4 will be announced.

Ingram I.S.D. is providing two warming centers at the elementary school cafeteria and the high school gymnasium, which will open beginning at midnight on Wednesday. The centers are available to anyone in the community who needs shelter.

Fredericksburg Independent School District will be closed February 3. There will be no student instruction and all school offices will be closed.

Other school districts who have announced school closures for Thursday, February 3, include: Harper I.S.D., Boerne I.S.D., Comfort I.S.D., and Llano I.S.D. All of these school districts say that a decision about Friday classes will be made by Thursday evening.
