Six Flags Fiesta Texas has announced its new chaperone policy which requires all guests aged 15 and younger to be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old after 4 p.m.  The company says in a statement that the move is aimed at keeping the park safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Under the new policy, the chaperone can oversee no more than 10 youths and must present a physical copy of their photo ID.  Chaperones must remain in the park during the duration of the visit by the teens they oversee.  Chaperones must also have access to a cell phone for the duration of the stay.

The rule went into effect last week and applies to all Six Flags Parks, according to a company release.
