In a dominant display of pitching, the Anyssia Mendoza  shut down the entire University of Dallas lineup, leading their team to a resounding victory. Mendoza threw a no-hitter against the team, as no batter reached base through hits. Over the course of the game, the pitcher showcased exceptional control, racking up 9 strikeouts while allowing just 1 walk in 22 batters faced. The defense behind them was flawless, ensuring there were no mishaps. Dallas offense was stifled at every turn, with no hits and only a single walk to show for their efforts. The hitters struggled to make solid contact, as the pitcher’s fastball, curveball, and off-speed pitches kept them off balance. Despite the best efforts of the batters, there was no breakthrough, with 9 strikeouts demonstrating the sheer dominance on the mound. Brinley Smith, Abigail Sliman, and Breyanna Jones all aded Rbi’s in the 5-0 win.
