Temporary closures to portions of 1st Street underway in Kerrville

The City of Kerrville, along with its contractor Ram 2 Utilities, recently began work on 1st Street.  The contractor is replacing manhole cones between Gilmer Street and Travis Street, which will require temporary closures of portions of 1st Street to through traffic.

Residents are asked to take note of the construction areas as work progresses and expect road closures and detours.  The City and its contractor will coordinate with affected residents to help ensure access to their properties during this time.  The project is anticipated to last for approximately five weeks.
