Texas Rangers paid Camp Mystic a visit on Thursday
Texas Rangers were at Camp Mystic on Thursday as part of their ongoing investigation, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. Earlier this month, the Texas Department of State Health Services said it was reviewing hundreds of complaints filed about the care of the children at the camp.
Camp Mystic has faced heightened scrutiny since last July after 27 girls died during flooding on the Guadalupe River.
Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick has urged the health agency to not renew the camp’s license to operate this summer.
