Officials on Monday reported that the death toll from the July 4th weekend flooding in Kerr County has climbed to at least 87, including 30 children. Nineteen adults and seven children remain unidentified. Five Camp Mystic campers and one counselor remain missing, according to Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha.
As of 8 a.m. Tuesday:

~3 dead in Burnet County, according to KXAN
~2 dead in Williamson County, according to Williamson County Emergency Services
~1 dead in Tom Green County, according to the Associated Press
Lt. Col. Ben Baker with the Texas Game Wardens said close to 300 wardens have searched over 26 river miles as part of recovery efforts. Baker said Texas Game Wardens have conducted 444 rescues and 30 recoveries.
Col. Ron VanderRoest said that game wardens are using two helicopters, 12 drones, and 10 K9 units. He noted that responders have needed to search debris “layer by layer.”
Kerr County officials said their next press conference will be at 5 p.m. today. That press conference will include Gov. Abbott, Texas House Speaker Dustin Burrows, TDEM Chief Nim Kidd, DPS Col. Freeman Martin, and Major General Suelzer of the Texas Military Department.
