Multiple varieties of frozen berries have been recalled across 33 states, as well as the District of Columbia.  According to an announcement by the Food and Drug Administration, Great Value frozen Organic Triple Berry Bland 10 oz, Great Value frozen Organic Blueberries 10 oz., and Trader Joe’s frozen Organic Mixed Berry Blend were recalled.

The recalls center around possible contamination with E. coli 0145.  The recalled Great Value products were shipped to Walmart stores in 30 states, including Texas.  The FDA’s release stated the affected items should be discarded or returned for a full refund.

~A Wyoming seed company is recalling its Home Grown Green Sprouting Calabrese Broccoli Seeds after salmonella was detected in the seed supply, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced.  The recall is connected to a broader multistate food-borne illness outbreak under federal investigation.

EAK Distribution LLC of Casper, Wyoming, is recalling the 8-ounce heirloom broccoli seed pouches sold on Amazon.com between Aug. 20 and Sept. 18, 2026.  The affected products comes in a cream-colored pouch with UPC code 850056667443 and a lot code of AUG172026 embossed on the top seal.

Consumers who purchased the recalled products on Amazon should stop using it and dispose of it immediately.  Refunds are available through Amazon.  For more information call 541-306-4278.

~Inventia Healthcare Limited, based in India, is voluntarily recalling 13,567 bottles of chlorthalidone tablets that may not dissolve properly, potentially lowering the dosage that gets absorbed by the body.  The bottles of 25 mg tablets being recalled nationwide have the batch number RISA24002 and an expiration date of March 2027.

~More than 360,000 electric balloon pumps sold at Dollar Tree stores nationwide are being recalled as they can overheat, posing a burn hazard.  The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a recall notice for 360,500 Dollar Tree electric balloon pumps after the manufacturer received three reports of overheating.

The pump’s model number, printed on the silver rating label on the bottom of the product, is 406198.  Dollar Tree sold the pumps at stores nationwide between August 2025 and July 2026.  Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled electric pumps immediately and return them to any Dollar Tree store for a full refund.  For more information call 877-530-8733.

~More than 77,000 cans of 7UP Tropical have been recalled after cans labeled ‘zero sugar’ were found to contain the full-sugar version of the popular soda.  The mix-up means affected 12-ounce cans can contain around 38 grams of sugar despite being labeled as having none.  The affected drinks were sold in 12-ounce cans packed in 12-packs, with the outer cases labeled 7UP Tropical but some individual cans marked 7UP Tropical Zero Sugar.

~The recall of a salad dressing sold across multiple states has been classified as the FDA’s highest risk level over fears of contamination with a deadly bacteria.  Texas-based Salata Dressings recalled its jalapeno avocado dressing over potential salmonella contamination in August.  On Wednesday, the FDA classed the recall as a Class I, indicating a ‘situation in which there is a reasonable probability that the use of or exposure to a violative product will cause serious adverse health consequences or death.’

The recall applied to Jalapeno Avocado Dressing sold at HEB stores in Texas in a 12 oz plastic bottle with a black cap with best by dates of November 5, 13, 18 or 25, 2026.  The products were distributed between July 13 and August 5, 2026.
