Winter weather causes water leak at historic Bandera water tower

Crews are working to repair a large water leak after severe weather causes water to gush out of the historic Bandera water tower.  In a Facebook post around 2 p.m. Monday the city said crews are on scene working on repairs.

The tower is offline and no service will be interrupted.  It will continue to leak until the tank is empty.  The “Tin Man” water tower is located near Cedar and 11th streets.
