“Art in the Park” event scheduled for Oct. 23

The Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department has announced the date for the second annual “Art in the Park” event set for Thursday, Oct. 23, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in Louise Hays Park, 202 Thompson Dr.  This free event aims to unite artists, performers and local organizations from the Hill Country, creating a lively and enjoyable experience for attendees of all ages.

The event will include complimentary mini pumpkin painting and chalk art activities by the Kerrville Parks and Recreation Dept.  There will also be interactive crafts by local art organizations and businesses, mini art galleries showcasing local artists, and performances by local musicians.  Food trucks will offer beverages and treats for sale.

More than just an event, “Art in the Park” celebrates the vibrant creativity in Kerrville and offers a great way to support local talent while enjoying the season.  This event is perfect for both art enthusiasts and families seeking a fun outdoor day.
