KPD investigating possible murder-suicide

Kerrville Police are investigating a possible murder-suicide after two people were found dead inside a home Wednesday morning.

Around 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, the Kerrville Police Department responded to a call for service in the 600 block of Louis Street to check for the welfare of a man who had not been seen for several days.  When officers entered the home, they found Shannon Ratliff, 62, and Wayne Ratliff, 64, with apparent gunshot wounds, police said.  Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said Wayne Ratliff died from a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound.
