The City of Kerrville encourages everyone to review its unclaimed property list which represents checks that were issued when an account is closed and the customer moves. It is possible the check went to the wrong address or was lost in the process of a move. Once identification is verified, a check can be reissued.

In addition, unclaimed property meeting certain age and dollar amount requirements is remitted to the State of Texas. Check for unclaimed property that the State is holding by viewing the State Comptroller’s list at: https://www.claimittexas.gov/. Instructions for searching for and claiming property from the state are located on this site.

To view unclaimed property on the City’s website, visit: https://www.kerrvilletx.gov/DocumentCenter/View/36809/Unclaimed-Property-Request?bidld=. The form can be mailed, emailed, or dropped off at City Hall. For more information, call (830) 258-1122.
