City of Kerrville announces temporary street closures

The City of Kerrville is reminding citizens that the intersection at Water and Clay Streets will be temporarily closed Monday and Tuesday, November 6-7, to accommodate a creative crosswalks initiative, including the installation of a three-way stop.  During this period, the Downtown parking garage will be accessible from Main Street to Clay Street.  Vehicle and pedestrian access to local businesses will be maintained during these two days, with businesses along Water Street being accessible to through traffic, as indicated by temporary street signage.

Due to inclement weather, Westminster Street will remain closed from the intersection at E. Main Street to Jefferson Street for pavement reconstruction for an additional 10 days.  The closed area is scheduled to reopen on Monday, November 6.  The City of Kerrville and its contractor, D&D Contractors, will make every effort to accommodate residents in and out of the affected area.
