City of Kerrville hosting Skateboard Competition on April 12

The Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department is gearing up for its annual Skateboard Competition scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at the Skate Park in Singing Wind Park, 2112 Singing Wind Dr.  Check-in and warm-up will start at 9:30 a.m., and the competition will begin at 10 a.m.  Each participant will have three minutes to perform their best skills to compete for the top spot in their age division.

This event is free for participants, but pre-registration is required.  Participants can register in person at the Parks and Recreation Department Office located in Kerrville-Schreiner Park, 2385 Bandera Hwy; by phone at (830) 257-7300; or online at https://web2.myvscloud.com/wbwsc/txkerrvillewt.wsc/splash.html.

Age divisions include 8 years and under, 9-12 years, 13-16 years, and 17 years and over.  All competitors must bring their own equipment, such as knee and shoulder pads, helmets, and skateboards.  Please note that helmets are required to participate.
