Pursuant to Section 551.045, Texas Government Code, the City Council for the City of Kerrville, Texas, will hold an Emergency Meeting due to an urgent public necessity, namely the extreme and widespread flooding that occurred on and after July 4, 2025.

This extreme weather event caused severe property damage, injury, and loss of life, which requires the City Council to deliberate or take action on this emergency and urgent public necessity.  The City’s response continues to require immediate action, which is required because of an imminent threat to public health and safety, including a threat caused by the flood, rain, power failure, and other conditions.

The meeting is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, July 8, at 6 p.m., in City Hall, 701 Main Street.
