Early voters, event attendees given parking directions for Oct. 25-26

Due to an increased amount of traffic anticipated on the weekend of October 25-26 because of concurrent events, Kerr County officials have announced special parking directions at the Hill Country Youth Event Center, 3785 TX27.  During this weekend, the county-owned facility will be hosting the Texas Fleece and Fiber Festival and the Master Gardeners, as well as being one of two Kerr County sites for early voters casting ballots in the U.S. General Election.

According to HCYEC/Oak View Group Director of Events Edward Gonzales II, those planning to visit the event center those two days are asked to observe the following:

~ Gate 1 fronting TX27 will be closed.

~ Gate 2, also fronting TX27 further east, will provide entry.

~ Gate 3 behind the center will provide exit for all onto Riverside Drive.
