Free movies available to stream with Kerrville library card

Kerrville’s Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library has announced it is teaming up with Kanopy, a new streaming experience which enables users to view more than 30,000 films ranging in topics including biographies, blockbuster cinema, foreign flicks, independent movies, and documentaries.  New titles will be added each week and Kanopy is free for library patrons.

Kanopy is accessible through a patron’s Smart TV, streaming on Roku, IOS and Android devices, and personal desktops.  Library subscriptions also include Kanopy Kids, which entertain but also are aimed at promoting empathy, literacy, critical thinking, and STEM skills.  This service is available simply by using your library card.
