The City of Kerrville has announced the promotion of Kelly Hagemeier to the position of Economic Development Manager.  Hagemeier previously served as the executive office coordinator in the city manager’s office, where she demonstrated exceptional strategic insight, communication skills, and project execution capabilities.

As economic development manager, Hagameier will lead initiatives focused on business retention and expansion, retail recruitment, and the advancement of downtown revitalization efforts through the city’s Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) and Main Street programs.  She will also assist in implementing the city’s comprehensive plan and collaborate with local and regional organizations to drive economic opportunity and growth in Kerrville.

Hagemeier brings over a decade of experience in marketing, development, and strategic planning to the position.  Prior to joining the City of Kerrville, she served as chief projects officer at Kerrville Hills Winery, where she managed client projects, oversaw marketing and community engagement efforts, and supported the company’s growth initiatives.  She has also held roles in marketing and development for educational and cultural organizations.

“We are thrilled to have Kelly step into the critical role,” said Kerrville City Manager Dalton Rice.  “Her strategic mindset, creativity, and strong ties to the community will be invaluable as we continue working to enhance Kerrville’s economic vitality.”
