Kerrville-Schreiner Park is set to offer plenty of fun and free events for families during Spring Break for both campers and non-campers. Additionally, day-use fees will be waived one hour before each event begins.
On Monday, March 10, at 7 p.m., “Inside Out 2” (2024-PG) will start at dark at the amphitheater. S’mores supplies and popcorn will be available while supplies last. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
On Tuesday, March 11 at 9 a.m., a guided hike is scheduled at Trailhead 5 led by Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department and the Riverside Nature Center. The hike will be less than two miles.
On Wednesday, March 12, “Concerts by the River” series returns at 6 p.m. in the Amphitheater. In addition to live music, there will be plenty of family-friendly games set up inside the Recreation Hall.
For those wishing to stay close to all the action, there are convenient accommodations at Kerrville-Schreiner Park. Options include mini cabins, RV sites, and tent sites. Mini cabins start at $65 per night plus deposit. Tent sites start at $27 per night. RV sites start at $38 per night.
