Multi-agency undercover operation leads to two drug arrests in Kerr County

KERR COUNTY, Texas — A multiple-week investigation from the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office (KSCO) Special Investigations Unit (SIU) has landed two in the Kerr County Jail, according to a press release from the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office.

KCSO, DPS ARREST TWO ON DRUG CHARGES

Investigators interrupt marijuana, methamphetamine sales

On September 24th, 2021, Kerr County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) Special Investigations Unit (SIU) concluded a multiple week investigation with the arrest of two local suspects for of dealing methamphetamine and marijuana.

Linda Danielle Munoz, 27, of Kerrville, was arrested and booked into the Kerr County Jail on a charge of Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1, >4G<200G. As of this writing, bond has not been set.

Robert Lewis Hall, 43, of Beeville, Texas, was arrested and booked into the Kerr County Jail on a charge of Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1 >4G<200G, and Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1, >1G<4G. As of this writing, bond has not been set.

The investigation began with KCSO SIU Investigators making contact with Ms. Munoz. With the assistance of Department of Public Safety (DPS) Criminal Investigations Division (CID), KCSO SIU conducted multiple undercover operations, where Investigators successfully purchased illicit narcotics from Munoz each time.

On September 24th, with the assistance of KCSO Criminal Investigations Division (CID), DPS CID, Kerr County Patrol Division, and Kerrville Patrol Division, KCSO SIU executed a search warrant at Ms. Munoz’ place of residence. The search yielded approximately 2 ounces of marijuana, and approximately ¼ ounce of methamphetamine. The course of the investigation directed Investigators to Munoz’ local source of marijuana and methamphetamine.

Investigators followed up with a second operation, where they successfully located and apprehended the local source, Mr. Hall. After being apprehended, Mr. Hall was found to be in possession of approximately 2 ½ ounces of marijuana and approximately 2 grams of methamphetamine. Mr. Hall is presently on active parole for narcotics trafficking till 2032. The course of the investigation then directed Investigators to Hall’s place of residence, located in Kerr County.

Investigators concluded the investigation with a search of Hall’s place of residence, which yielded a trace amount of methamphetamine, paraphernalia, and two loaded handguns.

“Our SIU did a great job interrupting this route for drugs reaching our community,” said Sheriff Larry Leitha. “Once again, inter-agency cooperation and strong investigation work pays off. Our investigators are consistently intercepting drug dealers and submitting strong cases to prosecutors.”

Additional charges may be added as this investigation continues. As in all criminal cases, charges may be added or modified prior to trial, and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
