The Texas Hill Country Alumnae Panhellenic is set to host an informational meeting for all Hill Country young women interested in participating in sorority recruitment at their college or university during the 2025-26 school year. The meeting will be held on February 9, 2025 at 3 p.m. at the home of Pam Umstead, 157 Stoney Brook Drive in Kerrville. Mothers of the girls are also encouraged to attend.
A Panhellenic sorority is a women’s social organization at the college or university level, mostly in the United States and Canada. The term “Panhellenic” comes from the Greek words for “all Greek”. Panhellenic sororities often value friendship, leadership, service, philanthropy, knowledge, integrity, and community.
Students interested in exploring this option while in college are encouraged to learn more about the process prior to their arrivals at school in August. For more information, contact Elizabeth Althaus at (830) 997-7954 or (830) 832-7954.
