The Louise Hays Park interactive fountain will be closed for maintenance beginning Sunday, August 22. The work is expected to take one week, and the fountain will reopen once complete. Active cases of COVID-19 in Kerr County continue to climb this week, according to the Texas Department of State Health Services. As of Thursday, August 19, there are 223 active cases, an increase of 37 cases in the county since Monday.
