Smoke testing to be performed on Kerrville sewer system on Wednesday and Thursday

The City of Kerrville's wastewater collections division will begin performing smoke testing on the sewer system in the Kerr South area Wednesday and Thursday, October 12-13, from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. each day.  The streets scheduled for testing include Trace, Rancho Oaks, Lydick, Quail Valley, Loyal Valley and Frederick. KPD arrests man after allegedly stabbing person at Walmart parking lot

Two arrested for alleged human smuggling in Kerr County

The Kerr County Sheriff's Department made two arrests for suspicion of human smuggling after conducting traffic stops along Interstate 10.  According to a press release, the KCSO interdiction team members observed two vehicles on Thursday, September 29 that they believe may have been working together to transport ten migrants.
